Gaur, Urban Administration and Development minister, refused to comment over any query relating to Bharati's return to the party at a press conference in Balaghat.

The minister had reportedly offered to resign after being advised at the recent cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan not to speak on the issue of Bharti.

Gaur had also reportedly left the meeting in a huff but has denied any of these incidents taking place.

The minister, however, said his department would employ 50,000 people in urban bodies in the next three years, and with this, "deputation culture in the department would come to an end".
