IED detected, defused in Jammu & Kashmir

A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot, which defused the explosive, the security forces said.

A major tragedy was averted on Tuesday as security forces detected and defused an IED planted by the roadside by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, officials said in Srinagar.

Security forces detected an IED at Pohu village on the Srinagar-Pulwama road on Tuesday morning which was planted to target security forces vehicles, sources said.
