Illegal arms and ammunition recovered, two arrested

Two persons were arrested from Sonbarsa area, about 30 kms from here, and six pistols, two revolvers and some cartridges were recovered from their possession, police said here on Monday.

Feroz and Nasim, both residents of Bihar, were arrested on Sunday, they said.

The two had come to supply arms to some people here, SP Ram Lal said, adding that the police is interrogating them.

The accused have been booked under the Arms Act and other sections of IPC.
