The sports fair drew crowds by the hundreds and thousands from across Punjab, besides a large number of expatriates.

Games like kabaddi, bullock cart races, fencing and tug-of-war were seen by the spectators as the most popular.

"Here I am seeing sports like kabaddi, bullock cart race and others. These sports are not to be seen in Canada," said Niten Singh from Canada.

Star performers are often picked up by expatriates and taken to other countries to showcase their talen and secure their future.
