Men kill friend over financial dispute, held

An 18-year-old youth was murdered allegedly by his two friends with bricks over a financial dispute on Tuesday night at Devilal Nagar near Sector 9.

An 18-year-old youth was murdered allegedly by his two friends with bricks over a financial dispute on Tuesday night at Devilal Nagar near Sector 9.

According to the police, Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Devilal Nagar, had drinks with his friends in a vacant plot before he was killed. After having drink, the trio started fighting over some financial issues among them.

The accused picked bricks and attacked on Singh, who died on the spot due to head injuries, the police said. Both the accused have been arrested.

The duo will be produced in a city court on Thursday. HTC
