Monsoon showers continued to lash the National capital since last night throwing normal life out of gear as the city recorded over 12 cm of rainfall during the last 24 hrs.

The Met office predicted that rain would continue to mark its presence till the weekend.

The night temprerature here came down to 22.5 degree celsius, which was 4 degree below normal.

However, as the rain gods smiled over Delhiites, it brought its share of woes for the people as the water logging was seen in several areas.

Traffic jams were seen at major crossings mainly due to choked sewers.
