Polling in the second and last phase elections in Orissa involving 10 Lok Sabha and 70 Assembly constituencies commenced at 7 am today.

Security has been tightened around all the 12,509 polling booths spread over 11 districts of which 4,698 had been identified as 'sensitive'.
Polling is being held to the parliamentary constituencies of Mayurbhanj(ST), Balasore, Bhadrak(SC), Jajpur(SC), Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Puri and Aska located mostly in the coastal plains of the state.
Over 75,000 security personnel including para-military forces had been deployed to maintain law and order during the polls.
Elections to 11 Lok Sabha seats out of 21 and 77 Assembly constituencies out of 147 Assembly seats were held in the state on April 20.
