Industrialist Ratan Tata on Tuesday faced angry sloganeering by pro-reservation activists at a function in Mumbai to confer him the highest award of the Maharashtra government.

As soon as he got up to receive Maharashtra Bhushan award at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Dadar, half a dozen youth got up and shouted slogans "go back Tata".

The youths were immediately whisked away by the state police.
