RPF constable on Mumbai-Balsad train killed

The group allegedly attacked the constable with sharp weapons and later decamped with his service rifle and ammunition.
A group of passengers allegedly killed an on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable on Mumbai Central-Valsad passenger train, RPF sources said.
25-year-old Constable Baru Kangari, who was attached to Virar chowky of RPF, got into an argument with an unidentified group of persons when the train reached Gholwad railway station near 9.10 pm on Saturday, the sources said.

The group allegedly attacked Kangari with sharp weapons and later decamped with his service rifle and ammunition.
Kangari succumbed to injuries before he could be taken to the hospital, they said.
No arrest has been made in this connection, police added.
