"The superfast Shri Shakti Express train was held up inside tunnel number 27 between Udhampur town and Katra railway station on Wednesday morning due to engine failure," said a police source.
"It reached Katra at 7am while it was scheduled to arrive at 5am." The superfast train was started between New Delhi and Katra from Monday. It covers the distance in less than 12 hours. Katra is the base camp town of the hill shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, which is visited by millions of devotees from all over the country each year.
