A flower, behold my hues
Subtle yellow to scarlet red...my petals iridescent
Soft as muslin, glisten with dew
Can sedate you with sweet scent.
My light wings flutter
At the sight of the bloom and nectar.
Spotted and smooth, bud to bud as I hover
You exclaim, "Ah! Beautiful butterfly, encase her!"
Into the horizon, touching the zenith
Tall and erect outlining the scenery
A mountain I, my ranges…brown barricades
Are snow capped vistas of beauty?
A lake, my blue water
Does gleam, shine and glimmer
Silver at night, golden in noon
Different under glint of the sun and beam of the moon.
.My majestic, lofty sight
Spurns you into vicarious flight
As I gracefully soar into the blue sky
Navigating the wind currents I fly
The feathers on my wings twitch
A magnificent eagle, as I swirl, float and drift.
I am nature
My grand canvas
Flawless and idyllic.
