Two held in connection with Mumbai blasts

Jamir Sheikh and Sohail Sheikh had already been detained by the Crime Branch and were arrested late on Tuesday night.

Two youth suspected to be LeT operatives were arrested by the police in connnection with the July 11 bomb blasts on suburban trains in the city.

Jamir Sheikh and Sohail Sheikh had already been detained by the Crime Branch and were arrested late on Tuesday night after being thoroughly interrogated, ATS sources said.

While Jamir is from the city and runs a key making shop in Mumbai Central, Sohail hails from Pune. Both had allegedly undergone LeT training in Pakistan, sources said.

The two are suspected to be members of the LeT sleeper module led by Tanvir Ansari, the unani practitioner held on July 24, they said.
