V-ball meet: AGUP in semi-finals

THE AGUP, Allahabad team defeated CAG, New Delhi in straight sets (25-7, 25-10, 25-5) to enter into the semi finals of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department Northern Region Volleyball Tournament here on Wednesday. In another quarter finals, team from AG Haryana defeated AG Jammu & Kashmir (25-11, 25-14, 25-4) to reserve a birth in semi final. Both the matches were held at the Sports Complex AG UP, Allahabad. Referees for the matches were MV Shivlangaya , R Dhangamani, Bhawani Shanker and DD Betal.

In another quarter finals, team from AG Haryana defeated AG Jammu & Kashmir (25-11, 25-14, 25-4) to reserve a birth in semi final. Both the matches were held at the Sports Complex AG UP, Allahabad.

Referees for the matches were MV Shivlangaya (Karnataka), R Dhangamani (Chennai), Bhawani Shanker (Chennai) and DD Betal.

Scores were kept by DD Betal and CD Pal while RK Singh was the commentator.
Earlier, Narendra Singh, principal Accountant General (Audit) UP inaugurated the event.

Vinod Kushwaha, general secretary, Accounts Recreation Club, said besides AGUP, teams of CAG, New Delhi and the Accountant Generals of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the tournament.
