Zee ties up with Buena Vista for Hollywood movies
Zee Telefilms Limited said on Monday it had signed a pact with Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific for sourcing of Hollywood movies.
Zee Telefilms Limited, a leading private media conglomerate, said Monday it had signed a pact with Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific for sourcing of Hollywood movies.

The multi-year licensing agreement has been signed for Zee's 24-hour English movies channel Zee Studio, said a company statement issued here.
This multi-year agreement will include an extensive range of library and TV film offerings from studios like Touchstone Pictures, Spyglass Entertainment, Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Hollywood Pictures.
Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific is the distribution arm of Walt Disney Television International and is responsible for the licensing of The Walt Disney Company's branded and non-branded programmes across the region.
Internationally, Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific distributes over 30,000 hours of programming to over 180 broadcasters across 120 territories.
"Zee Studio will be an excellent showcase for our wide range of internationally successful features," said Steve Macallister, senior vice president and managing director of Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific.
"We are confident this line-up will add great value to their schedules and to the continued success of Zee Studio," he added. Ajay Trigunayat, business head of Zee Studio, said: "Our first-ever multi-year deal with a major Hollywood studio represents our commitment to bringing the best content to Indian audiences."
