Global icon, film producer and actor, Priyanka Chopra Jonas turns a year older today. The star is celebrating her 39th birthday today, July 18. From taking over Hollywood after the Hindi film industry to being a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, the actor has several feathers in her cap. But amid it all, one cannot overlook her eye-grabbing and voguish style sense. Priyanka has given the fashion world some of its most iconic and history-making red-carpet looks. So, on her 39th birthday, it makes sense to go back and look at some of our favourites.

THE DOLCE AND GABBANA DRESS

In May, Priyanka Chopra attended the Billboard Music Awards with her husband Nick, wearing a sensational sheer nude dress. She was dressed head-to-toe in custom-made Dolce and Gabanna, decorated with crystals all over. The floor-sweeping number featured a risque thigh-high slit.

She accessorised her look with a diamond bracelet and drop diamond earrings from Bulgari, and a metal lace-up corset belt, originally showcased by Dior in their 2007 fall collection. She set the internet on fire in this glamorous attire.

THE STATEMENT-MAKING BAFTA LOOK

Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet at the 2021 edition of the BAFTAs in a sexy black ensemble from Ronald van der Kemp's Fall 2020 couture collection. She wore a black silk jacket with a plunging neckline, padded shoulders and a multi-hued pleated butterfly that rested right in the front.

Priyanka teamed it with a black skirt which highlighted her toned figure. She accessorised her stunning look, which was nothing short of art, with diamond rings and earrings from Bulgari. A stylish bubble braid, bold red lips, and dewy make-up completed her glam.

THE 2020 GRAMMY GOWN

This ensemble has to be one of the most iconic looks that Priyanka Chopra wore on the red carpet. The ivory floor-sweeping ensemble is from Ralph & Russo's 2018 spring couture collection.

The vintage-inspired number featured a navel-grazing plunging beaded neckline, an embroidered train and ombré fringe along the sleeves and a front slit. Priyanka wore the dress with drop earrings and side-parted sleek tresses.

THE CANNES DEBUT

Priyanka Chopra made her debut on the Cannes red carpet wearing an intricately beaded, vintage strapless Roberto Cavalli gown. The dress had a stunning sweetheart neckline, a risque thigh-high slit and a long train adorned with crystals.

Priyanka paired the embellished gown with long, gleaming silver earrings from Chopard. She brought old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet with soft finger curls, dewy make-up, and a flawless cat-eye.

THE CANNES BRIDAL GOWN

For her second appearance on the red carpet, Priyanka Chopra wore an actual wedding dress from Georges Hobeika's 2020 bridal collection and proved, there is no such thing as being overdressed. She converted the Cannes red carpet into her wedding with husband Nick Jonas, who wore a white suit to complement his wife. The floor-sweeping gown scored high on drama and featured a fitted bodice with ruffle details. She chose Chopard diamond drop earrings and a necklace to accessorise her look.

THE MET GALA

Priyanka attended the 2019 Met Gala with the theme 'Celebrating Camp: Notes on Fashion', wearing an extravagant Dior Couture gown that took 1,500 hours to make. The avant-garde ensemble featured a sheer bodice that came with silver criss-cross detailing. The skirt and trailing cape were adorned with grey, pink, red and yellow feathers. She wore her wavy locks in permed spirals atop her head complemented with a crown. She teamed it with fuchsia lips and eyeshadow, as well as white lashes and eyebrows.
