Vidya, known for championing homegrown saree brands, chose her drape from the shelves of Silk Mark India - an initiative of the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Vidya Balan's sindoori red silk saree featured a broad patti border and intricate brocade embroidery in gold. Vidya wore the six yards in traditional style, draping the pallu elegantly on the shoulder and letting the pleats fall on the front. A matching red-coloured silk blouse featuring a wide plunging neckline, gold brocade embroidery, half-length sleeves, fitted bust, and a cropped hem completed the glam picks with the outfit.
