JJ doctors work on Saturday
Despite the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) calling for a statewide strike of resident doctors on Friday, doctors at JJ Hospital went to work on Saturday.

Despite the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) calling for a statewide strike of resident doctors on Friday, doctors at JJ Hospital went to work on Saturday.
“MARD decided to go on strike late on Friday night. We had not issued a notice to our authorities by then. So we had to work on Saturday,” said Dr Sanjay Gahiwale, MARD secretary, JJ Hospital.
The dean of JJ Hospital, Dr TP Lahane, said: “All the resident doctors worked on Saturday. However, they have sent us a notice saying that they will go on strike on Sunday.”
