Rs 8 lakh stolen from builder's home

Oshiwara police have registered a case against an unidentified man for allegedly breaking into a builder's office in Lokhandwala between Saturday and Sunday night.

Oshiwara police have registered a case against an unidentified man for allegedly breaking into a builder's office in Lokhandwala between Saturday and Sunday night.

The office is located on the first floor of Shanti Sadan society at Lokhandwala market in Andheri (west). The accused entered the office by breaking open the bathroom grill and fled with Rs 8 lakh, said the police.

Rajesh Jain, owner of the office, is into construction business for two years. Jain came to his office on Monday morning after which he lodged a complaint with the police.
The accused damaged glass cabins in the office before fleeing. The security guards didn’t know anything about the incident.
