Surrogacy row: Aamir,SRK and other celebs who opted for it

Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj took a jibe at celebs when she proposed a ban on commercial surrogacy, saying how a ‘need’ has now turned to ‘fad’. She could have been targeting Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao whose youngest son Azad was born in 2011, when Aamir was 45. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s youngest son, AbRam (after Aryan (19) and Suhana (16)) was born in 2013 through IVF surrogacy. “Amidst all the noise that has been going around, the sweetest is the one made by our newborn baby, AbRam. He was born prematurely by several months, but has finally come home,” Shah Rukh had said through a statement. (Twitter)
