Photos: Kisan Rally turns violent, clashes as farmers try to enter Delhi

A massive march of farmers seeking to enter the national capital from Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday to press for their 15-point charter of demands met with police, who had anticipating trouble, set up heavy barricading on the borders and imposed prohibitory orders across east and northeast Delhi to stop them. The farmers had arrived in Sahibabad on the outskirts of Delhi on Monday as part of ‘Kisan Kranti Yatra’ – a march that began in Haridwar and intends to move to Kisan Ghat in Delhi on Tuesday.
