Photos: US logs overs 200,000 Covid-19 cases for fourth straight day

On December 5, the United States recorded 213,877 new Covid-19 infections, the country’s fourth consecutive day of more than 200,000 daily infections. Stay-at-home orders were effective in Southern California in wake of the surge in new infections. US also recorded 2,301 new fatalities on December 5 -- the fifth consecutive day of more than 2000 deaths. The current Covid-19 tally stands at 15,369,046 cases with 8,982,246 recoveries and 290,443 deaths.
