Harbhajan had snipped off his beard and hung it on the door of Moga DC office on Friday after the latter allegedly failed to fulfil his promise to ensure restoration of potable water supply at Bahona village.

Harbhajan submitted a written apology to Akal Takht jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh and pledged not to repeat the mistake. The jathedar received the apology letter and said the “tankhah” (religious punishment) will be decided by Panj Pyare.
