Police have booked a father and son duo for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by cutting down a peepal tree. Police have booked Vijay Kumar and his son Sachin Kumar, residents of Bir Talab, under Section 295a of the IPC for hurting religious sentiments by cutting the tree on Amrik Singh road near a temple.

Police have booked a father and son duo for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by cutting down a peepal tree.

Police have booked Vijay Kumar and his son Sachin Kumar, residents of Bir Talab, under Section 295a of the IPC for hurting religious sentiments by cutting the tree on Amrik Singh road near a temple. The case was registered on the complaint of Ashutosh Kumar, a resident of Bathinda.

Investigating officer ASI Baldev Singh said police were looking into the matter.
