Kylian Mbappe scored five goals in a 7-0 win vs Pays de Cassel, a sixth-tier side in France consisting of amateurs.

Kylian Mbappe was in blistering form as PSG ran rampant in a 7-0 win vs Pays de Cassel in their Round of 32 fixture of the French Cup, at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Tuesday. The Frenchman scored five goals (29', 35', 40', 56', 79') in what turned out to be a riot. Meanwhile, Neymar (33') and Carlos Soler (64') added the other goals for PSG against their sixth-tier opponents, whose players have other regular jobs.

For his first goal, the 2018 World Cup winner received a pass from Nuno Mendes inside the opposition box, and then his side-footed first-time finish deflected into the net. Then in the 35th-minute, Mbappe received a long pass from Danilo Pereira, to run behind the defensive line and then chipped it over the goalkeeper. He completed his hat-trick after receiving a pass from Vitinha, where he darted to the left of the box to once again chip the goalkeeper. For his fourth goal, Mbappe left a Neymar pass to confuse the goalkeeper and then ran in behind him to slot the ball into an empty net. For his final goal, the PSG star scored from a Soler cross at the far post. It is also worth noting that the opposition goalkeeper Romain Samson is also a pastry chef.

Here are the goals:

Mbappe became the first PSG player on Monday to score five goals in a competitive match.

"We came here to respect this team by playing at our level. That's what we did and we're very happy. It was a great opportunity for them and also for us, because it's a reminder for us that we come from amateur football and it's important to keep this link. Even if it's only for one game" Mbappé said after the match. It was his first hat-trick since France's World Cup final defeat to Argentina on December.

PSG coach Christophe Galtier picked a strong side, with the World Cup top scorer Mbappé and Neymar in the lineup, although he rested World Cup winner Lionel Messi for the game played at northern side Lens' home stadium.
