Central Vista revamp: MPs’ offices to come up in place of two buildings

An official from HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt Ltd, which has prepared the master plan of the ambitious project, said that MP offices will come up where Shram Shakti Bhavan and Transport Bhavan are currently located on Rafi Marg and Sansad Marg respectively.
According to the plan, a tunnel would be constructed to connect the building with chambers of MPs in the Parliament complex.(PTI)

‘Unity sphere’, tech dome in New India garden plan

The complex is being built as part of the Central Vista redevelopment project. The Nav Bharat Udyan will come up on 20.22 acres on the western bank of Yamuna. It is expected to be unveiled to the public by August 15, 2022, when India turns 75.

Govt narrows on five firms for the next phase of the Central Vista redevelopment project

According to officials aware of the development, the five firms — Tata Projects Limited, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, ITD Cementation, NCC limited and PSP Projects limited — submitted their technical bids on Monday.

Supreme Court extends scope of Central Vista hearings

The court decided this after a former IAS officer and two environmentalists sought intervention in the matter and sought a recall of the apex court’s June 21 order which said that any petition or proceeding concerning the Central Vista project will have to be heard by the Supreme Court.
