Delhi hotel that caught fire was booked by wedding party, child among dead

Among the dead in the fire incident were a child and a woman who tried to escape inferno by jumping through a window in the hotel room they occupied. Most of the victims were sleeping when the fire broke out.

Police said the brawl at the hotel began after the guests were allegedly served ‘cold’ food. The hotel manager however denied the allegation and claimed the groom’s friends misbehaved with the female staff.

18-year-old woman found dead in luxury hotel in east Delhi

The woman had checked into the hotel with a male friend on June 6. Police said there were no visible injury marks on the woman’s body, which was found in the toilet .
