CIPET to soon set up 2 new skilling centres in Bhagalpur, Varanasi

Chemicals and Petrochemicals Department Secretary R K Chaturvedi said that around 1,000 youths will be trained in each centre every year through diploma and skill development programmes for gainful employment in petrochemicals and allied industries.

Centre pledges Rs 560 crore to states for skill development

MSDE minister Mahendra Nath Pandey made this announcement at a meeting with states, which also saw collaboration with 22 organizations to provide apprenticeship training opportunities to more than 2.5 lakh youth in the country.

Skill India to transform lives of juveniles in UP

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the UP home department and the state department of women and child development signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate for creating and implementing various skill development programme for up to 11,000 children in conflict with law, street children and children in need of care and protection in Uttar Pradesh.
