1) Laitlum Canyon, Meghalaya: Laitlum Canyon gives you a bird’s eye view of Shillong’s magnificent landscape. 2) Lohagad Fort, Maharashtra: The terrains of Lohagad Fort are a prime destination for trekking near Mumbai. Perched over the top of a hill near Malavali, Lohagad gives you a glimpse into history. Lohagad Fort was an important hill fort used extensively by Chhatrapati Shivaji. The place is quite popular among trekkers who come here for one-day tryst with nature and history. 3) Anthargange, Karnataka: If you love night trekking and cave exploration, Anthargange is the perfect trail for you. Located 70 kilometres away from Bangalore, Anthargange is a haven for adventure sports; trekking, hiking, rappelling, cave explorations, rock climbing, high rope traversing, are the popular sporting activities here. It’s the most sought after monsoons trek destination, as hills get covered with greenery and caves become cooler. Sunset is the best time to be here as the view from the top is exhilarating.
