A 22-year-old man has been arrested after he pretended to be a mannequin in a store window before robbing a shopping centre after it closed. As per reports, the clever thief stood motionless in the window display to avoid being detected by cameras.

Polish police stated that neither employees nor customers saw anything unusual while closing the store. "A 22-year-old with a bag in his hand froze motionless, pretending to be a mannequin in front of a shop window. In this way, he wanted to avoid being exposed by the cameras," said Warsaw Police in a statement as per The Independent.
After the mall closed, the man stole items from a jewellery stand. He also went into a restaurant to eat. After the meal, he slipped under the partially open shutters of another store to swap his clothes for new ones. Later, he returned to have some more food. But soon, security guards noticed him and alerted the cops.
The same man is also charged with shoplifting from another mall, where authorities claim he attempted to steal merchandise from retailers after closure and stole cash from registers. For his crimes, the 22-year-old may spend up to 10 years in prison, reports the New York Post.
