Actor Siva Balaji was adjudged the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu on Sunday. After spending 75 days in the house, the last five participants -- Aadarsh Balakrishna, Archana, Hari Teja and Navdeep -- locked horns for the title. The grand finale, which was nothing short of a celebration, began with an energetic performance of composer Devi Sri Prasad who played the hit numbers from his latest release Jai Lava Kusa, which stars Jr NTR, the host of the show, in the lead. After Devi’s performance, NTR joined him on stage and matched steps, much to the excitement of the viewers and fans.

Archana was the first among the last five to exit the show. She was followed by Navdeep and Hari Teja. Navdeep who entered the show in its fourth week through a wildcard entry said: “It feels nice to the fourth top contestant of the show. I’m a pampered kid so I was slow in most of my activities. I’m happy that I survived this long.” Some rumours suggested that Aadarsh would win the show but he ended up being the runner up, making Siva Balaji the winner.

NTR also invited the rest of the participants of the show for the finale. Except Mumaith Khan and Kalpana, all the evicted contestants -- Jyothi, Diksha Panth, Prince Cecil, Sameer, Sampoornesh Babu, Kathi Karthika, Dhanraj, Madhu Priya and Mahesh Kathi -- made it to the grand finale. After the show, NTR tweeted: “Bigg Boss Telugu has been a very challenging but enjoyable ride. Will always be grateful for all the love and support you have shown.” Thanking the organizers of the show, he added: “Will miss “Maa TV” and the chance to interact with you all every weekend.”
