Parvati and Tulsi, the two leading ladies of Ektaa Kapoor's long-running soaps Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabi Bahu Thi, respectively, will wage a war in a 90-minute mega episode on Monday.

The theme of the episode — to be aired at 11 pm on STAR Plus — will revolve around a party thrown by Parvati of Kahaani... to which the families of Kyunkii... and recently launched Kayamath will be invited. Weaving and carrying the three stories forward, this special episode will reveal three big secrets from each show.

Since the World Cup is on and cricket mania has gripped the nation, Balaji Telefilms, headed by Ektaa, has come up with this unique idea of merging their three serials to lure the viewers and keep its TRPs intact.

"March 26 is a non-cricket day and it was Ektaa's idea to merge the three serials together. It is scripted like a film. In this special episode, Parvati and Tulsi find out each other's secrets. At one point you will find Parvati holding a gun to Tulsi's head," Nivedita Basu, Balaji's creative head, told on the telephone.

"We have crafted it in such a manner that once the special show will be over, all three stories will go their separate ways," added Nivedita. "We started shooting the episode on Wednesday and will shoot till Sunday."

At least 80 actors are working round the clock and five directors are monitoring them along with three unit teams.
