Wipe away your tears Mumbai. Coldplay is coming to town in Nov for concert

The concert will supposedly be held at the MMRDA Grounds in Bandra, Mumbai but there is no official confirmation from the band’s team yet.

After their surprise visit and an impromptu gig in Delhi last year, Coldplay may finally be coming to India for a proper concert. The band has selected the city of dreams, Mumbai for their much awaited performance in the country. The date for the concert reportedly is November 19, 2016.

The concert will be held at the MMRDA Grounds in Bandra, Mumbai but there is no official confirmation from the band’s team yet. Coldplay’s website has events listed in December in New Zealand and Australia, but there is no mention of any event in October and November.

Coldplay created a space in everybody’s heart with their songs, Yellow, Fix You, Sky Full of Stars among others. The band comprises of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. Lead vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland had established the band in 1996 under the name Pectoralz. They rechristened themselves in 1998 as Coldplay.

A Head Full of Dreams is rumoured to be the Coldplay’s last album. Coldplay is currently touring for their latest and seventh album across the US.
