‘Arunachal Part Of India’: U.S. Blasts China’s Move To Rename Places In Northeastern State

United States has criticised China for its decision to rename 30 places in Arunachal Pradesh, which Washington recognises as Indian territory. “The United States strongly opposes any unilateral attempts to advance territorial claims by incursions or encroachments, military or civilian, across the Line of Actual Control,” a U.S. State Department official said, as per Times of India. Washington last month said that it recognises Arunachal as part of India, which had irked Beijing.
