Maharashtra: Devendra Fadnavis, Sena leader meet Governor amid tussle

Devendra Fadnavis met Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the Governor of Maharashtra, on Monday. Tweeting about the meeting, Fadnavis said that he extended Diwali greetings and apprised Koshyari about the 'current scenario'. Half an hour before the Bharatiya Janata Party leader, a Shiv Sena member had met the Governor. Diwakar Raote said that he met Koshyari only to wish him for Diwali. Allies BJP and Sena are currently locked in a tussle to decide the power-sharing formula in Maharashtra. BJP secured 105 seats, while Sena won 56, in the recently concluded Assembly elections.
