A large-scale police raid on a drug-trafficking network in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday triggered intense shootouts, leaving at least 60 suspected gang members and four police officers dead, officials confirmed. The operation, which deployed helicopters and armored vehicles, targeted the notorious Red Command gang across the sprawling favelas of Complexo do Alemão and Penha, authorities said.
