‘UP govt spreading anarchy’: Priyanka Gandhi slams Yogi over CAA protests

Congress' Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a fresh salvo at the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh over the recent protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Addressing the media, the Congress general secretary accused the Yogi Adityanath administration of 'spreading anarchy' in the state. Earlier, she submitted a memorandum to the Governor, seeking a probe into police action against protestors. Vadra claimed that the state government's actions had no basis in law.
