The world's largest single rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 11.5 MW was inaugurated in Beas, near Amritsar, by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. The plant spread over 82 acres of rooftop, is on a single campus on multiple roofs.
