Hamas’ Gaza chief Yahya Sinwar has declared that the militant group will “not surrender guns”. Sinwar’s response came to the new Israeli proposal for a hostage and ceasefire deal. “Hamas will not surrender its guns or sign a proposal that asks for that,” he was quoted as saying by The Wall Street Journal.
