‘Indian MPs barred from J&K’: Congress attacks Centre amid EU MPs’ trip

Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad targeted the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance government on the day that a delegation of 27 European lawmakers visited Jammu and Kashmir. Azad said that he didn't have any objection to the foreign delegation visiting the region, but asked why Indian Members of Parliament weren't allowed into the erstwhile state. The Congress leader listed the number of times that he was stopped at an airport in Jammu and Kashmir while trying to enter the region.
