Pakistan denies airspace access to PM Modi’s plane, India slams ‘old habit’

Pakistan won't allow Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plane to access its airspace. India had made a request for the same for PM Modi's journey to the United States of America to attend the United Nations General Assembly. Pakistan's foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi cited the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir's special status as the main reason for the decision. India hit back, criticising Pakistan for 'misrepresenting reasons' for unilateral actions.
