‘Will handle drought situation if it arises’: Union Minister Tomar

In an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar spoke on the weak monsoon and fears of a drought like situation in the country. Tomar said that although there has been a delay in monsoon, it would be premature to say that the country is headed towards drought. The Union Minister also added that the Centre is monitoring the situation and is also coordinating with state governments to handle any situation.
