Andhra residents bear brunt of anti-bifurcation protests

Residents in Andhra Pradesh, mainly in the five districts – Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, East and West Godavari – coming under EPDCL are suffering as the announcement of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh evoked violent protests, forcing the authorities to clamp a curfew in the regions.
