Assam ready to talk to ULFA Rebels

Assam's Revenue Minister Bhumithar Burman on Tuesday said that the state government was ready for talks with the rebel outfit ULFA. Security has been stepped up in Assam with the police setting up check posts and frisking people after Sunday's twin blasts, in which atleast 6 people died and 40 injured.
