Centre to provide assistance: Akhilesh

After his first meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that the Prime Minister has assured to give central assistance to Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh further added that, in a bid to provide better living standard to the people of the state he has asked for a package for infrastructure development alongwith a separate aid package for Bundelkhand.
