Exclusive: Shashi Tharoor on life after Sunanda Pushkar's death

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor speaks on the hard-hitting impact that his wife Sunanda Pushkar's death and the subsequent revelations in the case have had on his life. Tharoor, in an exclusive Hindustan Times interview at the annual Jaipur Literature Festival, tells us how he has been trying to maintain focus on his political career, writing and other interests amidst rumours and speculations surrounding Sunanda Pushkar's death. He underwent a four-hour long questioning by the police last week in connection with the murder case. Tharoor also observes that the amount of trolling on the microblogging site Twitter has witnessed an upward trend which is impacting the mainstream media. The 58-year-old was reading from his new book "India Shastra", a collection of essays, at the literary festival where he highlights the pressing need for the party at the centre, Bhartiya Janata Party, to adhere to the 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas' motto completely.
