Gujjars suspend protests for three months

A mahapanchayat of Gurjars held in Pushkar on Friday decided to suspend protests for three months till the high-power committee headed by Justice (retired) Jashraj Chopra, constituted by the government to look into the demand of the Gurjars, submits its report. Gujjar leaders also said they were disappointed with the inflammatory speeches of Meena community MPs.
