India looks for a cooperative relationship with Pakistan: Krishna

Pakistan's visiting Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar, met her Indian counterpart S. M. Krishna today in New Delhi to push forward the bilateral peace process derailed by the Mumbai attacks of 2008. Expectations of a breakthrough in peace talks remain low, but the fact the nuclear-armed rivals keep talking is a sign that neither side wants to slide back towards conflict in the world's most dangerous region.Krishna in his opening statement said that the two nations must improve relations to give a better future to their future generations. Krishna added that New Delhi wanted to see a stable and peaceful Islamabad. Khar also reiterated that Pakistan also seeks 'good and friendly' relation with India.
