Kolkata High Court to hear Nandigram status report

The CBI is in a fix regarding the justification of the violent attack on the protesters of land acquisition move on March 14, even as the Calcutta High Court has asked the West Bengal government to place before it a status report on the situation in Nandigram. The CBI in its report submitted to the High Court on Wednesday said that a decision regarding the quantum of force used, could only be made on the basis of a thorough investigation.
