Krishna Tirath apologizes for ad goof up, orders probe

Seeking apology on the controversial government advertisement released in the national print media, Junior Minister for Women and Child Development, Krishna Tirath mentioned that she has set up committee to probe the lapses. Earlier in the day, the country was aghast to see in various dailies, an advertisement against female foeticide, released by the Ministry for Women and Child Development with the photograph of former Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Ahmed.
