Maoist menace: Seven policemen injured

Seven police personnel sustained bullet injuries in an intense battle with Maoists in Garhwa district of Jharkhand. The injured were rushed to the nearby Palamu district, from where an Indian Air Force helicopter airlifted them to Ranchi for immediate treatment. Speaking to reporters Inspector General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), DK Pandey said that the injured were receiving treatment.
